We ordered a fireplace room box and were absolutely thrilled. The preparation was simple and well described, the individual courses were perfectly coordinated and very, very tasty. Definitely to be recommended!

Cordonbleu was OK. It went pretty quickly. I suspect everything is ready-made from the freezer.

Great food and outstanding service. Offers slightly upscale cuisine as well as down-to-earth dishes. Just a spontaneous visit is rather difficult - mostly fully booked.

It's not my first time here. So far it was actually okay. Very well indeed. I have a suspicion that the kitchen staff or the cook has changed. There were three of us today and had lamb, roast beef and whitefish. The sirloin from the onion roast was like the sole of a shoe (the roasted onions had a strange character, somehow old and above all lumpy and hard) the lamb was totally bloody instead of medium and there were really too many bones in the beef fillets. The service was really extremely nice, you really have to say that. The lamb fillet and loin were fried again. All in all, unfortunately the side dishes were also tasteless. The Käsespätzle had no mountain cheese character and were almost milky. One can argue about the salt content. We will definitely not go again. Too bad. Unfortunately, there was also no espresso or schnapps as an excuse.

Out of necessity to have to stay overnight, drove to the place at the perennial owner. Went in to ask if I could stay the night - and received a very friendly welcome. The wait staff were totally friendly even without me generating a large turnover. Wow! In the evening we stopped there with friends (it was a coincidence). The food was great. We'll definitely be back when we're around.

We tried the “fireplace room” yesterday. 35 years ago I sat in this room and enjoyed my perennial fries as a teenager. Yesterday we enjoyed an excellent 5 course menu. Varied, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Service was very friendly and fast, it doesn't matter if small mistakes happen. I can only recommend the trip to the gourmet kitchen at the Staudenwirt! The next time I'll come back to eat schnitzel and fries ?

We ate deliciously and the service is very attentive and friendly. We recommend! And the greeting from the kitchen was awesome, an excellent taste experience.

Excellent restaurant with great service and great food. It's just a little hard to find, but it's definitely worth the drive!

I have the pleasure of staying at the Staudenwirt for four nights. The price for the room is decent / fair, as it is in the catering trade. In the room itself everything you need. Corona-related breakfast as a "portion" at the table. Had dinner twice, once in the biggest rush ever. The staff was extremely friendly even though the guests were pretty ... Great greetings from the kitchen, carrot ginger coconut soup and baguette with herb horseradish butter. Thank you! Kässpätzle great, great cheese, fine cream note. The salad was great with it, also the second time. I decided on the Wiener Art schnitzel. When asked, I was told that the meat comes from the region. As soft as butter, fat-free, fantastic corn flakes breading baked in clarified butter. With homemade fries, that was probably the Staudenwirt fries. Gravy was the icing on the cake. I have to grin with happiness, thank you! Price for Kässpätzle 12 €, for Schnitzel 13 €.

A little higher in price but absolutely reasonable in terms of quality. Everything was delicious and the staff is very friendly. At the end of the day, the children are allowed to go into the kitchen and receive a scoop of ice cream for free.

Once and never again! Tables reserved on the (free!) Terrace and pushed into the back yard! Meat was tough and through instead of medium. Knife bent. Drinks warm. After asking for ice cubes, nothing came. Children get food last. Kindness is something else.

Otherwise we were always very enthusiastic about the atmosphere, food and the staff. We were there on Tuesday evening, the staff was stressed and first yelled at a colleague that he was no longer allowed to accept people, even though we had reserved! Unfortunately, we waited a long time for our food, which is not a problem, but if unfortunately half is forgotten, the meat is through instead of medium, it's a shame! With the salad, the meat was rock hard. Unfortunately, this has happened to us on a Sunday evening. A real shame.

If it fits, then it fits. Service, food, location, everything was great. Nice terrace. Only a playground for children is missing (at least I didn't see it).

A country style hotel with a very good restaurant.

Excellent location, very tasty food and good quality service. When you are hungry around Ammersee it is one of the best restaurants.

We had a very enjoyable evening in the Staudenwirt. Star deduction is there for long waits ... not only for the food, but also to pay. Service friendly, from time to forget something, but tasteful and priced fine!

First visit of this restaurant and it won't be the last! Despite the fact that they were busy service was courteous and friendly. Food first class, ambiance great and prices reasonable. Really nice place once you know its there!
